Terms and Conditions

Badgefully Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: [July 7, 2025]

Welcome to Badgefully. By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any course offered through Badgefully ("we," "our," or "Badgefully"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

1. Eligibility
Badgefully courses are designed for registered members of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Users under the age of 18 must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before enrolling.

2. Course Format
All courses are self-paced and include a combination of instructional materials, worksheets, and assessment questions (multiple choice, short answer, and free response). Some courses may require parent signatures or additional verification for specific requirements. Badgefully does not impose a time limit for course completion.

3. Completion and Blue Cards
Scouts who complete all course requirements will receive a signed electronic blue card, typically emailed within 7 business days of completion. Blue cards will be sent to the email address provided at registration. Completion is subject to review by a qualified merit badge counselor.

4. Materials and Support
All required learning materials are included with your purchase. Any off-platform activities required by BSA guidelines are the responsibility of the Scout and must be completed honestly. Troops may request group discounts by contacting support directly.

5. Refund Policy
Badgefully does not offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • The course was started but not completed

  • The course was never started

  • The user failed to complete course requirements or provide required verification (e.g., parent signature)

Refunds will only be considered in the case of technical issues preventing access to the course, and must be reported within 7 days of purchase.

6. Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Badgefully does not collect or store your payment information directly.

7. Counselor Verification
Courses are developed or reviewed by registered BSA merit badge counselors. All blue cards are signed by authorized individuals. However, unless otherwise specified, courses do not include live interaction with counselors.

8. BSA Relationship
Badgefully is an independent provider of merit badge instruction. While courses are designed to meet BSA requirements, Scouts should review all badge work with their Scoutmaster or unit leader before beginning.

9. Donations to BSA
A portion of all proceeds is donated to the Boy Scouts of America to support Scouting programs. Badgefully is not an official entity of the BSA.

10. Code of Conduct
By using Badgefully, you agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Misrepresent your completion of merit badge requirements

  • Share your login credentials with others

  • Violate BSA policies, honor codes, or applicable laws

Violation of this code may result in denial of course credit or revocation of access without refund.

11. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, branding, and platform design are the property of Badgefully. Reuse, distribution, or resale is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

12. Privacy Policy
We collect only the information necessary to deliver courses, verify completion, and issue blue cards. Your data is never sold or shared outside of these purposes.

13. Changes to Terms
Badgefully reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
